Abstract
This paper proposes the method of automatic design for RC polyphase filters. The proposed method searches the filter that satisfies specifications such as small element value spread, flat gain characteristics in pass-band, and good attenuation characteristics in stop-band using genetic algorithm. The polyphase filter of relative bandwidth (fH/fL) 10, 30, 100 is automatically designed as examples. Simulation results indicate that automatic designed polyphase filters meet the specifications and good performance compared with reference [1].
