Abstract :
This paper presents a robust adaptive backstepping control for RLV´s based on continuous σ switching method. The core feature of this paper is the combination of a modified adaptive backstepping controller with robust adaptive control laws to ensure the robust stability of system under disturbances. Adaptive backstepping controller for the parametric strict feedback model is developed. The leakage terms are introduced to damp out the parameters when exceeds certain bounds using continuous σ switching modifications. Simulation results using MATLAB shows that the robust stability is achieved and the responses are satisfactory.
