Abstract :
We have demonstrated unique devices and phenomena utilizing 2D photonic crystals. In this presentation, we mainly report on 2D photonic crystal lasers and defect-based devices using 2D photonic crystal slabs. These results encourage us to achieve ultra-small add/drop devices for WDM application
