Abstract :
Radio Over Fiber( RoF ) technology has emerged as a solution to the increasing capacity and bandwidth requirements of wireless networks. However, the nonlinear distortion of the optical link, particularly of the Modulator, may impose serious limitations on the system performance. The nonlinearity results in Harmonic Distortion and Inter modulation effects of the RF signal. This paper investigate a scheme to linearize the response of the modulator and thus reducing the non linear effects.
