  • Abstract
The experiment had the purpose of analyzing actual emotions and false expressions through physiological signals. During the test, the subject imagined and expressed positive or negative emotion in accordance with the instructions of the experimenter. The physiological signals such as EEG (Electroencephalogram), ECG (Electrocardiogram), GSR (Galvanic Skin Response), and SKT (Skin temperature) were measured and analyzed. Clear distinctions were shown between actual emotions and false emotions with 5 variables in the EEG and LF/HF ratio in the HRV (Heart Rate Variability). Based on these results, we can classify actual expressions and false expressions of emotion. This study can expect for future crime investigations, psychology and medicine, marketing, and other various industries.
