Abstract :
We have reproduced the arrangement of a temple´s sliding doors in 3D space and developed two systems to support exhibits at a museum. One of them is a walk-through system in 3D space using Kinect. This system expresses the perspective of a person who is virtually walking. The other system uses goggles to show a stereoscopic 3D image, which helps visitors to understand the actual arrangement of sliding doors and the ambience of the room. The goggles were demonstrated at the Ryukoku Museum as one of the events related to the special exhibition, "Treasures of Shogo-in Monzeki Temple."
