Abstract :
We numerically demonstrate a new chaos-synchronization method in two Nd:YVO4 microchip lasers in a one-way coupling type. We propose an incoherent feedback method in which the population inversion is controlled to synchronize with each other by using the detected signals of the peak heights of chaotic pulses in the two lasers. The feedback control is applied to the pumping power of the received laser by using a different signal between the peak heights of electrical fields in two lasers. This synchronization is required for precise matching of all the laser parameters, because the dynamics of population inversion should be matched between the two lasers by controlling the pumping power
