  • Abstract
    This paper is intended towards comparison of the different wideband methods for direction of arrival (DOA) estimation. In this paper, explained methods are Incoherent method, Coherent signal subspace processing (CSSM) and Weighted average of signal subspace(WAVES) using Gaussian sources in presence of Additive white Gaussian noise(AWGN). Here, simply decomposition of signal and measurement of power spectrum is done. The transformation process causes an error i.e. focusing error. To minimize the focusing error and to reduce the sensitivity of subspace method, WAVES will be used. For evaluation of performance index, Monte Carlo simulation is performed.
