Abstract :
Optimization of energy consumption is a crucial need nowadays. To achieve this optimization, a representation of the thermal behavior of the building is important. Which means that information about the building materials, insulation layers and the thermal interaction between these materials are necessary. However, in most cases, these information are not available and a parameter estimation is necessary to represent the building behavior. This paper deals with parametric estimation using a novel method which is of algebraic flavor. Numerical simulations show the relevance of the proposed approach.
