Abstract :
Several physical models for simulating the hysteresis loop have been proposed that the implementation of some of these models is very complex and time-consuming and needs much data. In many technical applications, an exact mathematical model of the magnetic characteristics of the magnetic materials B-H is required to calculate the magnetic field in rotating machinery or other electromagnetic systems. Two common methods for simulation of hysteresis loops are Preisach and Jiles-Atherton Models. In this paper, at first we describe them, after that, the two methods are used to simulate the hysteresis loop using Labview software. The results of the simulation clearly show the relative superiority of the Jiles-Atherton´s method.
