    A cybersecurity platform for communications for smart grid substation automation uses open standards to enable legacy and new intelligent devices from different vendors to communicate seamlessly together between substations and between substations and control centers. True multi-vendor interoperability allows the proposed platform to integrate into any network and with additional systems such as physical security to make substation operations more resilient and reliable.
