Design and implementation service oriented architecture for data and information service in Bandung Health Office

Government are voracious consumers of Information Technology (IT). The development of Internet Technology in Indonesia brings a new stage of government towards a public service model known as e-Government. The increasing amount of data and information availability produced by government agencies, makes the quality of information as an important factor. One of the Information Quality (IQ) dimension is timeliness, the information that´s provided by the government has to up-to-date. This paper will discuss the ways to maximize the IT to deliver the data and information that produce by the Bandung Health Office. The proposed service was designed using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). SOA enables organizations to easily integrate system, data, and business processes.
