A preliminary study of modelling interconnected systems initiatives for preserving indigenous knowledge in Indonesia

This paper proposed modelling the interconnected systems initiatives which is adapted the model of developing Large-scale Systems by Rational Unified Process (RUP) for preserving indigenous knowledge in Indonesia. The interconnected system named e-Indogenous is divided into three subordinate systems, e.g. Indigenous Knowledge Codification System (IKCS), Indigenous Knowledge Repository System (IKRS) and Indigenous Knowledge Learning System (IKLS). The case study will be conducted to oral traditions of Sundanese people as one of IK in Indonesia. This paper is only preliminary study so that the content of paper only in brief analysis and plan. However, it can be baseline to arrange the holistic planning to construct the interconnected system.
