Abstract :
The paper presents an FPGA implementation of a lane detector able to work at different illumination condition. The proposed approach is based on an adapted Sobel edge detector with a dynamic threshold and Hough transform. Two CORDIC modes vector and rotation are used to implement HT. Moreover, exploiting edge phase information in CORDIC iteration provide an optimal way to increase precision without hardware complexity increase.
