Abstract
Now a day´s distributed generations (DG) systems are generally integrated with single phase grid at small scale. The power delivered from such DG sources depends on factors like energy availability and load demand. To achieve the reliability of the system a good quality of power must be transmitted to the grid with less harmonic and unbalance. Hence proper control action is to be carried out to control the output of inverter and to transfer the power at unity power factor. This paper presents a seven level reduced switched inverter connected to the grid, which is supplied by PV array module. The MPPT is necessary to control the action of boost converter. The effective controller design for harmonic elimination and to synchronized grid frequency with inverter frequency is to be carried out using MATLAB software and simulation studies are presented.
