Abstract :
Nanoscaled self-assemblies of conjugated polymers with tunable electronic and optical properties serves as fantastic interfacial layer to facilitate electron (hole) transfer across donor acceptor interface that leads to 60% improvement in power conversion efficiency. The manuscript aim at revealing the synthesis and characterization of these novel conjugated oligomer and how they come together to form nanoscaled self-assembled monolayer and multilayers. In addition, our results reveal understanding of the underlying mechanism and fundamental principle of molecular assemblies that leads to desired structure and properties for solar cell applications.
