Abstract :
A new hybrid learning model of flipped classroom-based collaborative knowledge building (referred as "FCM-CKB") can be integrated with group knowledge creation to promote advanced cognitive activities and to solve problems. First, this thesis expounds its theoretical research, and constructs the model based on it. Second, this research adopts the action research method conducts the "Multimedia Technology and Application" course three times, develops the online courses with Blackboard learning platform, and uses a questionnaire survey, in-depth interview, and group community growth reflection logs to collect the data. From the perspectives of the instructor, collaborative learners and resources, it eventually forms an instructional design process and learning model. This hybrid model has four main stages: community knowledge-based individual CKB, improvable ideas-based CKB within the community, rising above-based CKB between distributed communities and symmetric knowledge advance -- based public CKB. Finally, it is proved that the model played an active role in improving student´s learning interest, professional performance and high-level abilities, especially social skills, practical skills, research abilities and real-world problem solving.
