Abstract
Condenser motors are widely used because the motor needs the 1-phase voltage source we have everywhere. The single phase motor creates an elliptical rotating field that may cause some problems such as noise, vibrations and more losses that bring low efficiency and a rise in temperature. This paper describes optimum design of the motor in consideration of the maximum torque, efficiency, swing torque and starting torque for a sewing machine
