  • Abstract
    This work is an attempt to illustrate the usefulness of soft computing approach for solving a complex real world problem of channel equalization. A lot of work has already been done on channel equalization using conventional methods such as LMS,RLS based adaptive filters or using Neural Networks based adaptive filters. The present work is based on ANFIS (Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System) based equalizer. This approach fulfills the need of effectively handling the tuning of membership function in a Neural network based equalizer. we in this paper propose a channel equalizer based on ANFIS architecture.
