Abstract :
This paper presents Self cascode based current mirror (CM) using FGMOS which is used in low voltage and mixed mode circuits. The proposed CM has high output impedance of 108 TΩ and the bandwidth is obtained as 1.67 GHz which is further increased to 2.27 GHz by using resistive compensation technique in FGMOS for bandwidth extension. The proposed CM is used for Voltage Controlled Current Source (VCCS) circuit as its application. The simulation of both the circuits are performed using PSPICE tool and 0.18 μm CMOS technology parameter of level 49 with ± 0.5 V supply voltage to validate the effectiveness of the proposed circuit and its application.
