  • Abstract
    In this paper the concept of common mode to differential mode (CM-to-DM) noise conversion in Multiconductor cylindrical cable has been analyzed and discussed. The cylindrical cables are modeled using Multiconductor Transmission Line (MTL) approach and CM-to-DM conversion is compared to the standard 2-wire cables. Further, it has been demonstrated that the use of RF choke can substantially reduce the CM-to-DM conversion in cylindrical cables.
