Abstract :
Wireless sensor nodes operate on battery power and found very much energy constrained. Using dynamic power management, the sensor node components are operated at a desired power level or off to save the energy consumption and shorten the system activities to save power. Suitable queue discipline in collaboration with dynamic power management takes on a significant role in improvising the energy efficiency and brings down power consumption and delay largely of a sensor node. This paper insights different service disciplines of queue and their performance analysis of event driven wireless sensor node. Experimentations on dynamic power management based sensor node model are carried out to test the real time scheduling of events.
