Abstract :
In this paper, the best load line based two-stage MPPT, the analog locating circuit, the real maximum power point tracking (RMPPT) proposed by Ji Young-Hyok, Fibonacci search based MPPT and their variations are compared by simulation at Matlab/Simulink platform under several partially shaded conditions with a DC/DC circuit. These MPPT techniques are compared at global maxima tracking, steady-state oscillation, dynamic performance, the cumulative power generating, convergence speed, implementation complexity etc. In addition, a further discussion of two-stage MPPT and RMPPT are made.
