Abstract
HHVBF routing protocol is studied based on the location information and a Reliable HHVBF (RHHVBF) routing protocol is proposed in this paper. RHHVBF ensures the reliability of the entire link by ensuring the transmission reliability of each hop among the path from the source node to the destination node. We propose Node by Node Channel Evaluation Model (NNCEM) to evaluate the link between nodes, based on which we present the Channel Status Evaluation Model (CSEM). As the cross-layer protocol designing principles for reference, RHHVBF will consider the energy balance when selecting the next hop, which makes the energy consumption of the network averagely and prolongs the network lifetime. The RHHVBF protocol in Aqua-Sim is realized based on the NS2 simulation tools, then the RHHVBF is compared with HHVBF on data transmission and energy efficiency in this paper. The simulation results show that there is a more significant improvement of the performance of RHHVBF in the above aspects than HHVBF.
