Research on comprehensive performance assessment for WSN based on analytic network process

Due to the interaction among indices of performance evaluation for wireless sensor network (WSN) and uncertainty existing in evaluation process, a method of performance evaluation for WSN based on analytic network process(ANP) in the paper. Firstly, the index system of comprehensive performance assessment for WSN is established firstly. Then ANP is adopted to determine weight of index. Finally, linear weighted technique (LWT) is used to get the final evaluation result. The method proposed fully considers the interaction among indices. The reliability and efficiency of the method is demonstrated by the assessment of actual WSN examples.
