Research on the rate matching of LTE

In the LTE system, rate matching is an important part of the LTE system, which is the key algorithm to achieve multi quality requirements and the flexible multiplexing of multi rate service. The purpose is to use the algorithm to repeat or punch in data of channel-bits in the process of transport, to ascertain the speed of channel-bit of transmission later than corresponding equal to data-speed of the given physical communication channel after mapping. In this paper, we will study the algorithm and characteristics of rate matching process and the results of its simulation which is based on the 3GPP specification.
