Enhancement of power system performance using offline studies for industrial & utility systems

This paper mainly demonstrates several case studies to show the power system performance enhancement by offline power system studies. The off-line study cases includes both industrial and utility systems and describes about (i) blackout analysis for an oil and gas plant (ii) substation insulation coordination studies and (iii) substation equipment failure analysis. Full analysis of the results for all the study cases are presented in this paper.
