Abstract :
Substrate material is one of the main parameter will be considered to enhance the radiated power of terahertz (THz) photoconductive. This paper is intended to investigate the potential of L. leucocephala Wood Plastic Composite as organic substrate for THz photoconductive. Therefore, the electrical characteristics of two L. leucocephala Wood Plastic Composite samples will be analysed using Hall Effect measurement system (Ecopia, HMS-3000). The experiments were focused on carrier mobility and resistivity of the samples. Measured results at room temperature will be presented and supported by the results from many published papers. The result shown that, this organic material has better carrier mobility and resistivity compare to LTG GaAs and it is proved that the sample has a significant potential to be a THz photoconductive substrate material.
