  • Abstract
This article discusses the deployment of the accessibility guidelines proposed by the World Wide Web Consortium, an international community that develops standards in order to guarantee Web growth. The Accessible Information and Communication Technologies Teacher Training Course was used as research background because, while it shows the accessibility and usability difficulties of Web systems for disabled teachers, it serves as a corpus for analysis and manual and automatic validation for the development of an accessible platform. By conducting a detailed analysis of accessibility guideline application strategies, we state that projects that care about human diversity are viable and possible, and can increase the density of the research network that has the goal of expanding the Web, as well as the guarantee of Web access and Web use by everyone, regardless of disability.
