Abstract :
This paper presents a new method for cathodic protection of transmission line grillage foundations, developed by COPEL (Electric Utility of Parana, Brazil) and LACTEC (Institute Of Technology). This method uses induction from the electric field generated by the transmission line conductors as the primary source of the required DC power for cathodic protection
