Abstract :
One important component of China Fusion Engineering Test Reactor (CFETR) is central solenoid which plays a key role in producing, forming and stable operation of plasma. It is difficult to design and manufacture large superconducting CS magnet due to the extreme operating conditions, so it is meaningful to design central solenoid model coil (CSMC) and analyze its electromagnetic properties in advance. In this paper, the structure, design parameters and field distribution of CSMC were discussed. Also, preliminary calculation results of AC loss for CSMC were given and the incoming test with electrometric method for future reference was presented.
