Abstract :
In this paper, the adiabatic stability of the LTS/HTS composite superconducting conductor was analyzed and compared with conventional LTS conductor. The I-V characteristic is generally described by the power-law model with index n-value. The equivalent n-value of LTS/HTS composite conductor based on the power law model was calculated and discussed. The results show that the LTS/HTS composite conductor has instinct better thermal stability with respect to classical LTS conductor.
