Abstract :
In this paper, the electric circuit model and the magnetic circuit model of two different configurations of three-phase controlled shunt reactors (CSRs) of thyristor controlled transformer (TCT) are presented. Numerical analysis of the coupled models is made in time domain. Calculated results of two different configurations of three-phase CSRs of TCT type are compared with each other.
