Abstract
Experimental study on Peltier current leads (PCLs) with natural air cooling (NAC) applied to hot ends of Bi2Te3 at 77 K is presented in this paper. Samples of PCLs with NAC were designed and fabricated, and the temperature profiles and heat leakage are measured. The results show that NAC is available for minimum heat leakage at low current, and experimental results at 120 A match well with the simulation, which verifies that auxiliary cooling is necessary for high current.
