Abstract :
System identification builds a mathematical model of dynamic systems by the measurement of the system´s input and output signals. Model based identification process make use of the input and output data obtained from the step response alone for the identification process. Real time identification of cylindrical tank process is analyzed using ARX, ARMAX, OE and BJ models. IMC and IMC based PID controllers are implemented using online identification.
