Abstract
This paper presents a compact bandpass filter(BFP) based on stepped impedance resonator(SIR) with multilayer liquid crystal polymer(LCP) technology. This filter has been designed using broadside coupled with SIR. Adjusting the impedance ratio and length of SIR ,the resonant points are distributed evenly in the passband of filter. The filter is fabricated using multilayer liquid crystal polymer(LCP) process. The bandpass filter presents good electrical performances by utilizing that technology. It showed that filter(5.2-7.7GHz) insertion is less than 1dB and return loss is less than 21dB by using a full-wave analysis software HFSS.
