Abstract :
The design and results of Ultra-wideband dual polarization bowtie antenna arrays with backed cavity is presented in this paper. A single-pole of the Array element is composed of ellipse mixed structure with triangle. Placing two cross dipole, the whole unit can realize the function of dual polarization. Adding a reflector and a director can increase bandwidth, the gain, also can improve high-frequency pattern. Antenna array consists of 12 elements. Elements layout according to the rectangular grid and the advantage of this structure is simple, easy to adjustment and also can realize the function of multiple-input multiple-output. The design of ultra-wideband dual polarization bowtie antenna arrays with backed cavity can achieve the function of dual-polarization, wide bandwidth, high gain, light weight, low cost and low profile.
