Abstract :
A double-ridged TEM horn antenna, which was designed to be excited by the first derivative Gaussian pulse with central frequency 318 MHz, has been simulated to be well focused by the 10-layer traditional Luneburg lens. The metamaterial is introduced to construct an equivalent and isometric lens for the sake of cost and convenience. The effect of the modified lens is similar with the traditional.
