Abstract :
A new cell structure, named twisted sector cell, which eliminates cochannel interference, is proposed. As employment of high gain antenna and high signal propagation impairment are two important facts in LMDS, system performances are assessed by examining these effects. Simulations verify that this architecture improves system performance and is feasible under practical considerations. In addition, the deployment of this cellular architecture does not require extra cost.
