Abstract
Recent years, tricycles are increasing since, they can be used for tourist transportation as well as for transporting goods. In the light of this vision, the main idea of this paper is to study the performances of an electric tricycle equipped with solar panels. This study proposes an adaptation of the electric tricycles to become equipped with solar panels in order to increase batteries autonomy. Simulations of different topologies are presented along with calculation of solar panels power losses and batteries autonomy. A solution for increasing batteries autonomy is also discussed.
