An along-track sparse imaging method for forward-looking array SAR

A method of along-track sparse sampling and compressed sensing imaging for forward-looking array SAR is proposed in this paper. Although the number of scatterers in the altitude direction is finite for every observation scene, the sparse sampling method is designed along the alongtrack direction rather than the range direction, which is proved to be effective for forward-looking array SAR. Meanwhile, the compressed sensing method is applied to reconstruct the 3D image using the along-track sparse sampling data. Finally, the results of simulation experiments validate the effectivity of the method furtherly.
