Abstract
Micro-Doppler (m-D) effect is regarded as a unique signature for the targets with micro-motion parts. It may contaminate the target´s inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) image and make the focused target hard to recognize. Meanwhile, multiple function radar system inevitably brings sparse apertures in practice due to its limited resources. In this paper, a method aiming at the ISAR imaging for micro-motion targets with sparse aperture is proposed. Based on an improved Hough transform and the orthogonal matching pursuit algorithm, the proposed method could not only extract the information of micro-motion parts, but also reconstruct the ISAR images for the main body targets. The simulation results of a target model with micro-motion parts illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
