Abstract :
This paper considers the problem of the dynamic update of radar environmental knowledge base (EKB) established by a lot of a priori knowledge (e.g., Geographic Information System). Since EKB could not keep matching the radar operating environment very well, a new architecture is proposed to renew EKB in real time. Besides, we present a new method based on two Anderson-Darling tests, which is used to renew clutter information in EKB. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method. Furthermore, the benefit of dynamic update is also analyzed by a knowledge-based constant false alarm rate (KB CFAR) detector, and the data used in this process is collected by a linear frequency-modulated continues wave radar.
