Abstract :
Safe landing of the plane on time is of notable importance for airport, while the current landing system of civil airplanes mainly rely on the pilot´s observation of runway and aviation skills, which is disturbed by the weather. This paper presents a Landing-Aid Radar system with dual-GPU processor to use different methods to process different types of data, providing an ameliorative method for improving the angular resolution of scanning radar image. Experimental results demonstrate the efficiency and validly of the proposed system of the guidance in blind landing for civil airplanes.
