Abstract :
In this paper, a tracking method of frequency and timing offset in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems is presented and implemented by field-programmable gate array (FPGA). To begin with, the tracking procedure of frequency and timing offset is analyzed theoretically. Furthermore, the implementation is presented in detail of each step in the tracking procedure. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the design is verified by simulation and test. It shows that the loop can correct frequency and timing offset with good tracking performance.
