Abstract :
This paper describes the design and implementation of a low-cost narrowband 1.2 GHz mixer using a double-balanced configuration. An alternative mixer implementation is compared to the traditional microstrip air-bridge method in terms of the conversion loss, port-to-port isolation and VSWR. The mixer´s performance is also compared with a commercial double-balanced mixer´s characteristics
