Cloud computing architecture for collaborative e-learning system

As powerful computers and high speed internet have increasingly become available to the public at low cost, information and communication technology (ICT) has been used to revolutionize education. Therefore, collaborative e-learning has emerged as a new educational form in both teaching and learning. In institutions, the traditional web based e-learning mode models lack the underlying infrastructure that are highly scalable and can dynamically allocate the required computation and storage resources. Also building and maintenance are located onsite which causes a lot of problems for institutions. However technologies like Web 2.0 and cloud computing have helped to build a more successful and reliable educational environment and will greatly influence how future e-leaning applications are developed and deployed.
