Message from technical program chairs

On behalf of the technical program committee, we would like to welcome all of you to a historic city of Nara, 1300-year-old ancient capital of Japan. This year, for regular sessions, we received 105 papers from 17 different countries over the world. We assigned at least two reviewers to each paper, and finally we have selected 60 papers out of them. The paper acceptance rate is approximately 57 %, so we are sure that all the accepted papers have high qualities. On the other hand, for special sessions, we assigned 4 organizers to organize sessions on specific topics, and finally we have received 22 papers from selected academic and industrial researchers.
