  • Abstract
One of the most important functions of the human skin is the protection of UV which is the main cause of some skin diseases The level of protection is actually the concentration of melanin which causes the skin black. Therefore, this paper proposed method of human skin color classification by photodetector devices which can identify skin prevention level needed when exposing to the sun. Photodetector supports low-cost contact device required in dermatology while there is no standard specified in the present. The RGB LED is placed for light detection in photodetector operating. This study applied the principle of primary color specification coordinate with cloud serve to identify skin color detected by RGB LED into human skin color. Von Luschan´s Chromatic Scale and Fitzpatrick are theories are used in this research to classify human skin color and type. Cloud service and mobile application support various functions, especially data storing, data synchronization, and user interface. The experimental results have indicated that this algorithm can perform accurate classification, and develop a variant effective of skin color detection through cloud service even if different environment.
