Abstract :
Multi-user spatial multiplexing can significantly increase the performance of wireless networks, such as emerging 4G/5G cellular networks and so on. In this paper, we present and evaluate an effective sphere detection (SD) scheme based on MU-MIMO block diagonization (BD) for future wireless heterogeneous network (HetNet). The proposed scheme is proved to be effective in improving the system symbol error rate (SER) compared with other relative methods. Results also show that in proposed conditions the number of both antennas and users have a significant impact on the system performance.
